Apple pie recipe

I made this delicious vegan apple pie a few days ago and I thought I would share the recipe with you guys.

The apple pie is of course vegan & also glutenfree, sugarfree and oilfree.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g oat flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp agave syrup
  • 400 ml oat milk (or any other plant based milk)

for the apple filling:

  • 3 apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp agave syrup
  • lemon juice from half a lemon
  • 30 g grated walnuts
  • 1 pack vanilla pudding powder
  • 200 ml oat milk

coconut cream:

  • 120 g coconut yogurt
  • a dash of vanilla
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (or any other sweetner you like)

First mix the oat flour with the vanilla, baking powder, chia seeds & agave syrup and then add the oat milk. Mix everything well and put the dough in a baking pan and bake it for 10 minutes at 180 degree Celsius in the oven.

Then for the apple filling cut the apples in small cubes, then mix the apples with the cinnamon, lemon juice and agave syrup. Then put the apples in a pan with a little bit of water and stew the apples for 5 minutes. Then add the walnuts & the oat milk, when the oatmilk is cooking add the vanilla pudding powder and cook it until it has a thick consistency.

By then the cake should be done, then put the apple filling on top and bake the apple pie for another 25 minutes. For the cream mix the yogurt with the vanilla and sweetner.
